Let me introduce myself. My name is Sterling Davenport. Also known as Davey. I’m what folk call a webmaster. I have been tinkering with computers for 20+ years. I have been building websites for 14 of those years.

I’m a simple man. Born and raised in Tennessee. I grew up to marry love of my life, my high school sweetheart, Joyce. Now, each and every day I have is a blessing and a gift.

This blog is the story of me, along with a few other things. I have had this site up for almost 9 years. I have changed it time and time again. This time, I decided this was going to be it.

I hope to share with you a few things I have have learned over the years of being a web guru. Everything from registering domain names, building websites, setting up databases, setting up DNS, using PHP, understanding CGI and more.

You’ll also get my opinion on just about anything at anytime for any reason.
